Weekly Email From Ellen Newman, a recently retired teacher from Cheltenham High School in Wyncote, Pennsylvania: ìWhen I was teaching, I had almost every studentís email address and many of their parentsí addresses in my computer address book. I would send them an email at the beginning of every week about upcoming quizzes, tests, homework or in-class activities. After the first mailing, they all had each otherís email addresses as well and could assist one another with questions and concerns regarding assignments, questions, and other class related issues.
